The 2nd Annual Heavy Petal Enduro

Whether you're a trail veteran or just getting into enduro, this is your chance to ride, race, and celebrate with the Smithers biking community. Ages 10+

Race Time and Location

Location: Bluff Recreation Site, Smithers, BC
Date: Saturday June 13, 2026
Approximate Race Start Times (subject to change):
- Long Course
  - 7:30am – 9:00am Registration
  - 9:00am – 9:15am Racer Meeting (Mandatory)
  - 9:15am – Begin pedalling to Stage 1
- Short Course
  - 9:30am – 11:15am Registration
  - 11:15am – 11:30am Racer Meeting (Mandatory)
  - 11:30am – Begin pedalling to Stage 3

Race Format

Enduro: Only downhill stages are timed. Riders must climb to each stage.
Short Course: 3 stages (~8 km, 500 m elevation)
- Difficulty: Blue trails only
Long Course: 5 stages (~21 km, 1200 m elevation)
- Difficulty: Blue and black trails

Race Categories

10–13 male, female, and non-binary (short course only)
14–18 male, female, and non-binary (short or long course)
19–49 male, female, and non-binary (short or long course)
50+ male, female, and non-binary (short or long course)
E-bike open male, female, and non-binary (long course only)
